Deep Festival/ Dewali Mela is organised every year in this temple during the month of October – November which is the traditional festival of the State. Artists from outside of the State participate in the festival and cultural functions in the two stages like Dhanya Manikya Mukta Mancha and Tribal Cultural stage for two days. The whole area of the temple complex and the adjacent area are illuminated with colourful lights. Another program on classical song and dance is also organised in the temple complex two days before the said festival. Pilgrims and tourists from different parts of this country and abroad take part in the festival every year. The fishes and tortoise of Kalyansagar also attract the Pilgrims and tourists that all are highly applauded. 

প্রতি বছর এই মন্দিরকে কেন্দ্র করে অক্টোবর – নভেম্বর মাসে দ্বীপ উতসব বা দেওয়ালি মেলা অনুস্ঠিত হয়। যা রাজ্যের অন্যতম ব্রিহত উতসব হিসাবে পরিচিত । এই উতসবে রাজ্যের এবং বহি রাজ্যের শিল্পিরা সাংস্ক্রিতিক অনুস্ঠানে অংশগ্রহন করেন। এই উতসবকে কেন্দ্র করে মেলা প্রাঙ্গনে ধন্যমানিক্য মুক্তমঞ্চে এবং উপজাতি মুক্তমঞ্চে দুই দিন সাংস্ক্রিতিক অনুস্ঠান পরিবেশিত হয় এবং সমগ্র মেলা প্রাঙ্গনে এবং ততসংলগ্ন এলাকা আলোকসজ্জায় আলকিত করা হয়। দেওয়ালি মেলার দুই দিন আগে মন্দির প্রাঙ্গনে শাস্ত্রীয় সঙ্গিত এবং ন্রিত্য পরিবেশিত হয়। এই মেলাকে কেন্দ্র করে দেশ বিদেশ থেকে পূর্ণার্থী এবং পর্যটকের সমাগম হয়।কল্যানসাগরের মাছ এবং কচ্ছপ পুর্নাথীদের বিশেষভাবে আকর্ষণ করে।
